Day 1: Marrakech » Telouet » Ait Benhaddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Gorges [325 km]

Your private 6-day tour from Marrakech begins with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains, crossing the 2260m high Tizi N’Tichka pass to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for movies like “Gladiator” and the series “Game of Thrones.” Continue to Ouarzazate, known as “The Gate to the Desert,” to visit Atlas Film Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. Drive through the Valley of Roses to Dades Gorges, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Dades Gorges » Draa Valley » Rissani » Erg Chebbi Dunes (Merzouga) [269 km]

Continue your tour with a visit to Todra Gorge, a colorful canyon popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Drive through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, known for its fossils. Reach Merzouga and switch to camels for a trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a sunset, sandboarding, and a night in a Berber-style tent with a traditional dinner and music around a campfire.

Day 3: Exploring Merzouga area & Visit nomad families [40 Km]

Spend the day exploring the Merzouga desert. Options include camel trekking or a 4×4 excursion. Visit Khamlia village, known for its traditional Gnawa music, and the abandoned town of Mefes with its lead mines. Meet a nomad family living behind the dunes. Spend the night in a riad or hotel in the Merzouga area.

Day 4: Merzouga » Ziz Valley » Azrou Cedar forest » Fes [467 km]

After breakfast, drive through Rissani and its local souk, then continue to Midelt via the Ziz Valley and palm groves. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant before visiting the Azrou cedar forest and its Barbary Apes. Continue to Fes, with an overnight stay in a local hotel. Visit Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” with its stunning architecture and ski resort.

Day 5: Fes (Visit the city with a local guide) » Casablanca [295 km]
