After breakfast at your accommodation, we will head to Fes, stopping in Meknes, a city under the Middle Atlas mountains. Visit places of interest, including the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a World Heritage Site. Have lunch in Meknes and continue to Fes. In the afternoon, arrive at your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, spend the day visiting Fes. This city is divided into three zones: Fez el-Bali (the old part), Fès el-Jdid (the modern and old Medina), and the French side. Visit the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), the Plaza of the Dyers, Fes el-Bali, Fes el-Jdid, the Andalusian Mosque, and more. After the tour, return to the riad for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, continue the excursion to the Merzouga desert, making stops at various interesting sites. Pass through Ifrane, known for its European architecture and colder climate. Head to Azrou, home to extinct volcanoes and a cedar forest with friendly monkeys. Continue to Midelt for lunch, then travel through the Ziz Valley, admiring the red gorges, large oasis, and adobe kasbahs. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, leave your belongings at the auberge, and prepare for a camel trek to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a Moroccan dinner, live music, and a campfire under the starry sky.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise. Visit a nomad family and enjoy Berber pizza for lunch. Rest for a while, then explore the desert, visiting an oasis, the town of Khamlia, Mefes mines, and meeting Berber nomads. Return to the camp for dinner, music, and an overnight stay in a Berber tent.
Camel trek back to the riad and have a shower. Continue to Rissani and visit a large market. After lunch, travel through the Draa Valley, stopping to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, a World Heritage Site. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, another World Heritage Site, and explore the fortified city. Visit the Kasbah of Telouet, then travel through the High Atlas mountains, stopping to take photographs and enjoy the fresh air. Arrive in Marrakech and head to your accommodation, ending the 6-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech.
