4 days trip Marrakech Atlas mountains Desert camel ride: Start from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech, cross the High Atlas Mountains, and visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Continue to Ouarzazate, passing through the Roses Valley, and arrive in Boumalen Dades Town for an overnight stay. Drive along the Dades Valley, stop at Toudra Gorges, and continue to Merzouga Sahara Desert. Explore the Erg Chebbi dunes, visit nomad families and Khamlia village, and enjoy a camel ride to your camp for dinner and Berber music under the stars. Finally, catch the sunrise over the dunes, drive to Fes, stopping at Erfoud, Ziz Valley, Midelt, Azrou Forest, and Ifrane along the way.

Itinerary:

Day 1 : Marrakech –Tishka pass – Ait Benhaddou kasbah –  Ouarzazate[192.9 km]

We pick you up in your hotel/Riad, then we statr our drive crossing the high Atlas mountains passing through small villages of Berber families most live by agriculture, in certain times we stop for a break to take pictures and for coffee or Moroccan mint tea…we keep our drive till we get into the top for a panoramic view of the Tizi N Tishka pass where you see the buety and highness of the Atlas mountains.

after it we arrive the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou a Unisco world heritage site so you explore the main Kasbah in the Ounila valley ( the Fourtress was built more than eight centries ago, after your hike and exploration can have lunch there before we drive to OUARZAZATE the quite city and the gate to the south  where the Atlas Studio (Hollywood of Africa) parts of very famous films shot here ; Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, the Bible , kingdom of heaven, Sahara , jewelry of the Nile ,the Mommy …

On the road to Boumalen town we pass through the roses valley  where locals celebrate the season on May of every year, arrive and overnight  in Boumalen  Dades Town.

Day 2 : Boumalen Dades Valley – Toudra Gorges- Erfoud –Erg chebbi desert dunes [ 242 km]

After having your Breakfast, we drive along the dades valley trees of figs , walnuts  and apricot .. and see the view of Sand rocks in form of monkey toes ,on our way ; we stop on the gorgeous gorges of Toudra the high cliff mountains where rock climbers do their sport and natural water source and possibly see nomad people with their goats and donkeys come for water, after it we drive to Tinjdad and break for coffee and lunch in Touroug village, Arrive to Merzouga Sahara desert . Overnight in your Hotel next to Dunes.

Day 3 :  Desert tour- nomad families – sand panoramic view – visit Gnaoua music group – Ride camels 

We pick up you after having breakfast in your hotel and start our desert off roading aroud the Erg chebbi dunes to see the ground area where they get fossils  and have stops to take photos of dunes and visit the nomad families living in a Berber tent made of camel hair .

then we go to visit Khamlia village where mostly originated from Niger,Gana  and from other south Saharien countries of course to see their traditional Gnaoua music style before we go to have lunch and test the specialty local Berber Pizza, we head back to the hotel to get prepared to ride camels guided by your camel man  who can help and take you photos in your way to the camp where your tent is  and have dinner and enjoy the Berber music before you go to sleep  or watching the starry sky . dinner is included in the camp

Day 4 :  Sahara dunes – Midelt – Azrou forest- Ifrane  -Fes [468.7 km]

After you got up early morning to catch up the sunrise magic moment ,you have breakfast and shower in your camp ,we leave the desert driving to Fes imperial city ,on the way we may stop in Erfoud the capital city of fossils and  miniral Rocks ,then we will see the panoramic view of Ziz Valey of thousands of palm trees , and we cross the Tizi N Talghomt pass and have lunch in Midelt city or around, the next break is in Azou forest to enjoy a moment with Atlass monkies  and stop in Ifran city (a French city garden during the colonial period) ,Arrive to Fes
