The first day of the 4-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech through Merzouga Sahara. Midelt lies between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain ranges at an altitude of 1,508 meters. The trip covers places like Azrou, where you can see Barbary monkeys, the hills of Midelt, Tiz Ntalghamt Pass, and Ziz Gorge.
After lunch, continue exploring the Ziz Valley until you reach Merzouga. Merzouga is a beautiful town in the Sahara Desert, offering a fascinating camel experience among the sand dunes, followed by a memorable sunset. Enjoy a bonfire and delicious dinner at night.
After breakfast, we’ll explore the area by visiting the village of dark-skinned people originally from Mali to enjoy their music and way of life. Then, we’ll drive to Miffis Mines to see how they work before heading behind the dunes for charming desert views and tea with local Bedouins. Return to the hotel afterward.
Continuing our 4-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, we’ll wake up early to watch the best sunrise of your life, casting different shadows and colors over the sand dunes. After breakfast and a shower, we’ll return to our desert hotel. We’ll then continue to Tinghir and the stunning Todra Gorge, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. The gorge is great for hiking and relaxing by the river or sampling local Berber delicacies. After lunch in the gorge, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley and spend the night in a hotel on top of the mountain.
On the final day of our 4-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, we’ll head towards Ait Ben Haddou and then to Marrakech via Telouet. The journey continues along the old caravan route of Ait Ben Haddou, stopping to view Telouet-Pasha Glaoui Kasbah. We’ll then move forward to reach Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi N-Tichka pass. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation around 6-7 pm.
