The 3 nights camel trekking adventure in the Merzouga Sahara Desert offers ample time to immerse yourself in the heart of the Moroccan desert. Accompanied by local guides, you’ll be well taken care of, enjoying delicious meals, music, and sandboarding. You’ll also have the chance to visit nomad families and experience their lifestyle.
If the weather is clear, you can marvel at a starry night sky. On the first night, after a satisfying dinner, you’ll light a fire. In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll travel for almost two hours to reach your next destination. You’ll take a half-hour break for lunch under the shade of a Tamariz, a typical desert tree. After lunch, you’ll continue your journey to a Touareg family’s home, where you’ll spend the night and interact with them.
The next morning, after breakfast with the family, you’ll move to another small oasis in the desert, where the next camp is inhabited by a nomadic Berber family. After breakfast, you’ll return to the village or hostel. This three-night desert tour includes an average of 90 minutes to two hours of walking or camel riding each day.

We provide private tents with mattresses and blankets, mineral water, and full board during the desert excursion, along with camel rides throughout the trek.
Starting around 16:00 in the afternoon, your camel guide will lead you to our camp situated in the middle of the dunes. At the top of a high dune, you’ll stop to capture the stunning sunset.
Upon arrival at the camp, you’ll be assigned your own private tent (of your preferred type) and enjoy dinner in a Berber tent. After a delightful meal, we’ll build a campfire and play drums, singing traditional songs of the Berber, Touareg, and southern Moroccans.
On the second day of our three-night camel trekking adventure in Merzouga, after enjoying breakfast, we’ll embark on a one-hour camel ride to our next destination: a small oasis with palm trees. Here, we’ll have lunch and spend the day, climbing the high dune for sandboarding and watching the sunset from the top of Erg Chebbi.
After sunset, we’ll return to our camp to spend our second night, enjoying a delicious dinner and music, followed by a short walk to admire the stars.
In the morning, after breakfast, we’ll embark on a two-hour journey to our next destination. We’ll stop for lunch next to a desert tree called ‘Tamarist,’ spending about an hour and a half in its shade.
After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to the home of a Touareg family, where you’ll spend your third night and share some time with them.
The next day, after breakfast with the Touaregs, we’ll head to another small oasis located in the middle of the desert. Before reaching the camp, we’ll stop for lunch along the way. Your third night will be spent with a Berber nomad family living at this oasis. During dinner, we’ll enjoy a fantastic drum party.
After breakfast, we’ll travel back to the village or the camp. Each day will involve between 90 minutes to two hours of either riding a camel or walking alongside one.
On the final day, after enjoying your breakfast, we’ll take you back to the village. You can choose to return either by camel or opt for a 4×4 as an alternative.

Luxury tents have ensuite bathrooms, showers, and towels. A cozy tent offers communal facilities and hot showers outside. You must bring your own towel and shower supplies.
Each luxury tent comes with its own private bathroom, complete with a shower, soap, shampoo, and towels. You are required to bring your own towel and shower accessories due to the communal hot showers outside the tent at Comfortable Tent.
