Day 1: Marrakech » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley [315 Km]
Start your journey from Marrakech, crossing the Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains with numerous stops along the way. Visit the UNESCO world heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its role in Hollywood blockbusters like “Lawrence of Arabia,” “The Jewel of the Nile,” “Gladiator,” and “Game of Thrones.” Continue to Ouarzazate and visit the famous Kasbah Taourirte before enjoying a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Boumalne Dades via the Valley of the Roses. Dinner and overnight at a traditional riad in the Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades » Todra Gorges » Merzouga (Night in Desert Camp) [255 km]
After breakfast and a shower at the hotel/riad, continue your tour via the Todra Gorge, known for its high cliffs and river. Pass through Berber Bedouin villages and arrive in Merzouga, where camels await to take you on a Sahara trip through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Enjoy a hearty dinner and spend the night in a Berber tent (desert camp) under a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga » N’kob » Agdz » High Atlas Mountains » Marrakech [562 Km]
Wake up early to watch the sunrise, then have breakfast and a shower at the camp. Return to the departure point by camel or 4WD. Leave the Merzouga Sahara desert and travel back to Marrakech via a different route, passing through Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob, and Agdz (Daraa Valley). Stop for lunch along the way and continue to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains, concluding your 3-day tour.
