5 days trip Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains: Start from Marrakech, cross the High Atlas Mountains, visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, and explore Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. Head to Roses Valley, visit Bouteghrar village, and hike in Dades Valley. Drive through Tissedrine Pass, visit Toudra Gorges, and enjoy a camel ride in Erg Chebbi dunes. Witness sunrise in Sahara Desert, travel through Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, and Nekkoub, and return to Ouarzazate. Return to Marrakech via Tizi N’Tichka Pass, stopping for photos and village exploration along the way.

Itinerary:

Day 1 : Marrakech –High Atlas mountains – Ait Benhaddou kasbah – Atlas filming studios- Ouarzazate[196 km]

We pick you up in your hotel/Riad,then we start our tour journey crossing the high Atlas mountains passing through small villages of Berber families most live by agriculture, in certain times we stop for a break for coffee or Moroccan mint tea…we keep our drive till we get into the top for a panoramic view of the Tizi N Tishka pass where you can take nice photos.

after it we arrive the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou a Unisco world heritage site so you explore the main Kasbah hiking for about an hour, and have lunch there around before we drive to OUARZAZATE the quite city and the gate to the south where the Atlas Studio is (Hollywood of Africa) parts of very famous films shot here ; Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, games of thrones, the Bible , kingdom of heaven … overnight in Ouarzazate dinner is included.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate – roses valley – Bouteghrar valley – nomads live in caves – guided hiking in Dades valley[553 km]

After finishing your breakfast, you meet your driver and head east to kela’a Magouna( roses town) , possibly stop to see the corporation where the distillation process is made to produce roses oil and water and make different products as soap and creams ,

We keep driving a long the roses valley to Bouteghrar village where we stop to have glass of tea with nomad family live in cave for many years. then you meet your hiking tour guide to see the charm of Dades valley before we head to your hotel . overnight in Dades valley. Dinner is included.

Day 3 : Boumalen Dades – Tissedrine pass- sand rocks view- toudra gorges- desert camel ride [247.9 km]

You meet your driver and drive to see the most beautiful complicated curving road in Morocco before we stop by the sand rocks in form of monkey toes , after it we keep driving to the gorgeous gorges of Toudra in a high cliff mountains where a lot of rock mountains come from different countries to enjoy their sport, it’s a short break to take pictures then we drive to the southeast of Morocco through many villages and town ,stop for lunch in somewhere and drive to the Erg chebbi dunes in Merzouga , valley of sand where you see the sky touches the sand high dunes, so you meet your camels to ride and a camel man in front to guide it and short breaks on the way to your camp for pictures and fun moments, arrive the camp and relax before you have dinner and desert Sahara music by drums .

Day 4 : Sahara desert Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazzarine – Nekkoub – Agdez- Ouarzazate[366.6 km]

In this last day of your trip, you got an early awakening to catchg up the most amazing sunrise in the middle of the golden dunes and take pictures and enjoy beautiful colours of the sky touching the dunes, then have your shower and breakfast after it before you meet your driver to head back to the mountains through a different road where you feel it more deep African scapes with acacia trees and black stones desert , the scenery attracts to stop for pictures and breaks in Draa valley and Ait Sawn Pass where the movie The Bible filmed , arriving Ouarzazate city . overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate –Tizi N tishka Pass atlass mountains-Marrakech[193.1 km]

After breakfast, we will pick up you and drive back to Marrakech crossing the high Atlass Mountains. And stop for taking pictures and explore villages on our way , arrive Marrakech drop off in your hotel / Riad .
