Itinerary:

Day 1: Tangier » Chefchaouen » Fes [309 Km]

Our private 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga begins with a hotel pick-up. We head straight towards Chefchaouen, known as ‘the blue pearl of the north’ or simply ‘the blue city.’ You’ll be captivated by the charm of its narrow streets adorned with green plants and red roses. We’ll take a leisurely walk beside the river and enjoy mint tea in the grand square, Plaza Uta el Hamam. After lunch, we head towards Fes to rest and prepare for the journey to the Sahara.

Day 2: Fes » Ifrane » Merzouga Desert (Camel Trek & Night in the Desert) [467 km]

After a hearty breakfast, we head towards the Merzouga Sahara Desert via the High and Middle Atlas mountains, enjoying the stunning natural scenery. We visit Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Little Switzerland,” drive through Azrou, cross the Ziz Valley, and visit Midelt and the fossils in Erfoud. We then transfer you to Merzouga, where you’ll experience a camel ride in the Sahara Desert. Spend the night in a desert camp under the stars, enjoying dinner and Berber music.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley [255 km]

Our Tangier desert tour continues with a breathtaking sunrise in Merzouga. After a camel ride back to Merzouga village, we drive towards Rissani to explore Tafilalet, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty of Morocco. We then travel to the Todgha Gorge and visit the Dades Valley, where we’ll spend the night in a riad with dinner.

Day 4: Dades Valley » Ait Ben Haddou » Marrakech [325 km]

After breakfast, we explore the Valley of Roses, then Skoura, and visit a movie studio in Ouarzazate. We continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most well-known fortified cities in the world. We cross the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass and drive to your accommodation in Marrakech. This marks the end of our 4-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Merzouga Sahara.
