Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Med V airport in Casablanca, you will meet your private English-speaking driver. The driver will provide a brief overview of your tour. Then, visit Casablanca, Morocco’s commercial capital and largest city. Enjoy the impressive architecture, the majestic Hassan II Mosque, and the gardens and terrace cafes overlooking the Atlantic Coast. Afterward, depart towards the main capital, Rabat. Overnight with dinner at the hotel or Riad.
Today, drive to Chefchaouen. Along the way, make short stops before arriving at the blue city. Overnight in an authentic riad in the Medina.
Drive from Chefchaouen to Meknes for a guided tour. Travel through rolling hills to visit the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your certified local guide will explain life in the Roman Empire as you explore old bathhouses, mosaic floors, and towering marble pillars. Afterward, head to Meknes City.
After lunch, start your guided tour at the 18th-century Bab Mansour, the ornamental gate to the imperial city of Meknes built by Sultan Moulay Ismail.
Visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the entrance of the Meknes Royal Palace, and Moulay Ismail’s massive Heri Es Souani, his personal stable and granary for 12,000 horses. Continue to Fes for an overnight stay with dinner.
After breakfast at your Riad, begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled-in cities dating back to the 9th century. Walk through its alleys and small streets. Start by visiting the Royal Palace gate and the Jewish quarter named “Mellah,” built in the 16th century.

Continuing our 10-day Morocco tour from Casablanca, leave Fes towards Erfoud. Pass through a scenic forest of cedars and across the Middle Atlas Mountain range to the mineral mining city of Midelt, where a stop for lunch is scheduled. Continue through the dramatic Ziz Valley, known for its palm trees and the length of the oasis. Along the road, see innumerable ksars, small villages of individual houses. Discover the Valley of Roses, Kelaa M’Gouna, a center of Moroccan roses and rose products. Continue your trip via the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing the Skoura palm oasis to Ouarzazate. After a lunch stop in Ouarzazate, visit the UNESCO-protected site of Ait Benhaddou. Leave the kasbah and head towards the majestic Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass of Tizi Tichka, 2260m high, offering impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech by sunset. Dinner and night at the hotel or Riad.
After breakfast, explore Marrakech with a knowledgeable tour guide. Start at the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, the landmark of Marrakech, which has inspired other buildings such as the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat. Next, visit the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs.
The Saadian tombs date back to the time of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur and were restored by the Beaux-Arts service. The mausoleum comprises the interments of about sixty members of the Saadian Dynasty.
After lunch, continue to the world-famous Jemaa el Fna Square, which houses an array of food, snake charmers, local musicians, and fortune-tellers. Walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. Night with breakfast at the Riad.
