Day 11: Merzouga » Visit Nomad families & Other sites in Erg Chebbi

Visit the lake of Merzouga and its bird populations. Explore Rissani, once the meeting place for salt caravans from Timbuktu. Walk through the souk, then return to the Kasbah. Ride camels into the pink sands of Morocco’s highest dunes. Enjoy dinner, traditional music, and a night in a nomad tent.

Day 12: Merzouga » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley [255 km]

Leave the desert and move on to Todra Gorge, Morocco’s Grand Canyon. Explore the gorge and its changing colors. Continue to the stunning Dades Valley for the night. Share a glass of mint tea with local residents and drive north across the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy stunning views before descending past Berber villages to Marrakech.

Day 13: Dades » Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Haddou » Marrakech [326 km]

Explore Marrakech, a city full of alleyways, souks, stalls, and markets. The Koutoubia Minaret dominates the skyline.

Day 14: Marrakech at leisure – Transfer to the airport
