Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech » Transfer to your accommodation

Our driver will pick you up from the airport. Spend the day relaxing and exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks on your own.

Day 2: Full Day to Visit Marrakech with a local guide

Enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech Medina with an experienced local guide. Visit the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, its souks, and narrow alleys. Explore the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens. Return to your traditional Riad in the Medina.

Day 3: Marrakech » Atlas Mountains » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades [325 km]

Start your tour from Marrakech to Dades Gorges, crossing the Tizi N’Tichka pass with views of the High Atlas and Berber villages. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and have lunch nearby. Continue to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas studios. Drive to Dades Gorges through Roses and Dades Valley. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and overnight in a riad/hotel.

Day 4: Dades Valley » Todra Gorges » Erfoud » Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) [255 km]

After breakfast, explore the Dades Valley and see the rock formation called “the monkey toes” and the Kasbah of Ait Yul. Travel to Todra Gorges and enjoy the scenic landscapes. Continue to Erfoud for lunch, then head to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Take a camel ride, enjoy the sunset, and spend the night in a desert camp with a traditional Berber-style nomad tent, dinner, and music around the fire.

Day 5: Merzouga » Berber Families » Black Desert » Merzouga [40 km]

After breakfast and a shower in the desert camp, start your camel trek back to the departure point. Begin a discovery tour of the Merzouga area, visiting the seasonal lake of Merzouga and its migratory birds. Visit a village known for its Gnawa music and lifestyle, and stop in the deserted town of Mefes. Meet a nomad family and spend the night in a hotel with dinner.

Day 6: Merzouga » Rissani » Alnif » Nkob » Agdz » Ouarzazate [367 km]

After breakfast and a shower in the hotel, leave the Merzouga desert and travel to Ouarzazate through the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains, including Alnif, Agdz, and Draa Valley. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a local riad.

Day 7: Ouarzazate » High Atlas Mountains » Marrakech [195 km]

Leave Ouarzazate in the morning and visit the studios. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, enjoying dramatic views of canyons, mountains, and Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, concluding your 7-day tour.
