Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakesh » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley [315 Km]

Start your 4-day Marrakech Desert Tour to Merzouga with a drive from Marrakech to Dades Gorges across the High Atlas Mountains. Ascend through the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) and see beautiful villages on the mountainsides. Proceed to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous film studios. After lunch, drive through the Dades Valley along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Skoura and Kelaat Magouna, known for its roses. Arrive at Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Dades » Todra Gorges » Merzouga (Night in Desert Camp) [255 km]

Depart in the morning for Merzouga dunes, crossing the Tinghir Oasis and driving through palm groves towards the Todra Gorges. Wander within the gorges and palm groves, then continue to Tinjdad and Erfoud. Arrive in Merzouga for a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a sunset over the sand dunes, followed by dinner and a night in a nomadic tent with Berber drum music under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert » Alnif » Nkob » Agdz » Ouarzazate [367 Km]

Wake early to watch the sunrise, then have breakfast and freshen up at the camp. Depart towards the Palm grove of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani. Explore the ancient capital of the Alaouite Sultans, then continue to Alnif, crossing the Jbel Saghro Anti-Atlas chain. Pass through Tazzarine and N’kob, then drive into the Draa Valley. In the late afternoon, drive to Ouarzazate via the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Spend the night at a Riad or Kasbah in Ouarzazate.

Day 4: Ouarzazate » High Atlas Mountains » Marrakech [196 km]

Leave Ouarzazate in the morning and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a well-preserved fortress and film location for movies like “The Mummy” and “Gladiator.” Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, offering impressive views over valleys and Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, concluding your 4-day tour.
