Morocco's natural resources include oases. The Tafilalet region in the south of the country is home to the world's largest oasis, with an area of 77,000 km2.
The cities of Erfoud and Rissani are separated by the largest oasis in Morocco, which is located in the lower valleys of the wadis Ziz and Ghéris.
The wadi Ziz passes through this desert oasis, which is spread out over twenty communes in the region, including the cities of Rissani and Erfoud. We've included a few photos of the green Tafilalet islets that blanket the valleys of the wadis Ghéris and Ziz as far as the eye can see.
